Trustly at the casino: paying straight from your bank account

Values per casino, each with its source.

How we collect the data ▸

Trustly is a payment service that triggers a deposit directly from the online banking of your own current account: you pick your bank, approve the payment with its usual security procedure, and the money goes to the merchant without a card or e-wallet balance. For the 5 casinos compared on this page – Playzilla, Rolling Slots, Playio, Qbet and AmunRa – the short answer to the search for a Trustly casino is, however: none of the 5 casinos lists Trustly as a deposit method, neither in the payment list on casino.guru nor in the AskGamblers data sheet (sources as of 05.10.2026); which bank routes remain for depositing at Playio, for example, is shown on the brand's page.

Trustly belongs to the payments that start directly from a bank account, and that route is available at all 5 brands through the classic bank transfer. Bank transfers and SEPA direct debit at the casino, with times and fees per brand, are covered on the parent page.

What is Trustly?

Trustly is a so-called payment initiation service: inside the payment window the customer signs in with their bank's access details, approves the transfer with a TAN or app, and the merchant receives a confirmation. There is no credit line as with a card and no third-party balance as with an e-wallet; money comes from the current account and, if the merchant pays out the same way, flows back there.

At an online casino Trustly is therefore a variant of the bank transfer in which recipient, IBAN and payment reference are not typed in by hand. How this route fits into the range of cards, e-wallets, prepaid vouchers, crypto and transfers is shown in our comparison of deposit methods at online casinos, which places the methods of all 5 brands side by side.

Each Trustly payment is a single transfer on your statement: easy to trace, but your bank sees every payment to a gambling operator and may check it under the rules below.

Trustly at the 5 casinos: what the sources list

Two independent lists of deposit methods exist per brand. casino.guru gives a full list: 32 methods at Playzilla, 23 at Rolling Slots, 34 at Playio, 34 at Qbet and 31 at AmunRa. The AskGamblers data sheet carries different lists with 35, 36, 40, 24 and 39 entries. Trustly appears in none of these ten lists, and we do not write in an availability that no source confirms.

The picture is different for related bank payments. The AskGamblers data sheet lists „Sofort“ at 4 of the 5 brands, namely Playzilla, Rolling Slots, Playio and Qbet; for Rolling Slots it additionally lists „Klarna Instant Bank Transfer“ and Giropay. In the casino.guru lists „Sofort“ is missing at all 5 brands. Which list applies shows only in the cashier after sign-up; for AmunRa, AskGamblers notes that many methods are subject to territorial restrictions.

CasinoTrustly„Sofort“ per AskGamblers data sheetBank-based deposit per casino.guru list
Playzilla Casinonot listedlistedBank transfer, eps transfer, Zimpler, Rapid Transfer, Revolut
Rolling Slots Casinonot listedlisted, plus „Klarna Instant Bank Transfer“ and GiropayBank transfer, Revolut
Playio Casinonot listedlistedBank transfer, Zimpler, Rapid Transfer, Revolut
Qbet Casinonot listedlistedBank transfer, Rapid Transfer, Revolut
AmunRa Casinonot listednot listedBank transfer, Rapid Transfer, Revolut

The „Sofort“ column refers exclusively to the AskGamblers data sheet of each brand, the column with bank-based deposits exclusively to the casino.guru list.

Is Trustly like Klarna? Trustly and Sofortüberweisung

In principle Trustly and Klarna's Sofortüberweisung are similar: both trigger a transfer from online banking, require approval through your bank's security procedure, and give the merchant a confirmation before the money arrives. They are, however, two providers with their own contracts, partner banks and merchant lists; a casino with Sofortüberweisung does not automatically offer Trustly, and vice versa. At the 5 brands Sofortüberweisung appears according to askgamblers.com in the data sheet of four brands and according to casino.guru at none.

A further difference concerns casino withdrawals. A classic Sofortüberweisung is purely a deposit route; the payout runs as an ordinary bank transfer to the account on file. With Trustly, some merchants also pay out through the same service. At the 5 brands this plays no role: the bank transfer is on every brand's list of withdrawal methods according to AskGamblers.

Bank-based alternatives at the 5 casinos

For the Trustly principle – paying from your own account without card or wallet – the 5 brands offer several routes, differing in how the transfer is triggered and whether it also works for withdrawals.

  • Bank transfer: a deposit method at all 5 brands (casino.guru) and a withdrawal method at all 5 (AskGamblers) – the only bank route documented in both directions at every brand.
  • Rapid Transfer: a transfer from online banking via an intermediary service; deposits at Playzilla, Playio, Qbet and AmunRa (casino.guru), withdrawals at all 5 brands (AskGamblers).
  • Zimpler: deposits at Playzilla and Playio (casino.guru); as a withdrawal route AskGamblers lists Zimpler only for withdrawing at AmunRa.
  • eps transfer: the Austrian online transfer scheme, listed by casino.guru only at Playzilla.
  • Revolut: deposits at all 5 brands (casino.guru); withdrawals at Playzilla and Playio (AskGamblers).

Which of these methods is enabled for an account from Germany is decided by the casino; the cashier list may differ from the sources. On every bank route, deposits and withdrawals must run through an account in your name – a statutory rule explained in the legal framework section.

Small amounts (€10)

The search „Trustly Casino 10 Euro“ aims at a small first deposit from a bank account; without Trustly, it applies here to the bank transfer and other bank routes. No source gives a minimum per method; figures refer to the casino or a bonus offer.

  • Playzilla: €10 (AskGamblers DE, German bonus offer), €20 (AskGamblers bonus page, another offer); no general minimum given.
  • Rolling Slots: €10 in general; €20 for the welcome bonus.
  • Playio: €10; at least €20 for the match bonus.
  • Qbet: €10 for fiat deposits; welcome bonus €20 (AskGamblers data sheet) or €10 (AskGamblers bonus page).
  • AmunRa: €10 for the welcome bonus; no source gives a general minimum deposit.

The minimum withdrawal is sometimes higher: Qbet states €20, for Rolling Slots AskGamblers states €10 and LCB €20, for Playio the AskGamblers data sheet states €20 and casinoohnelizenz.com €10; for Playzilla and AmunRa there is no information. At Qbet, according to AskGamblers, the first withdrawal per day is free and every further one within 24 hours costs a 3% administration fee (max. €20) – noticeable with small wins.

The Anti-Money Laundering Act has its own rule for small amounts, which sits alongside LUGAS and the GGL's whitelist among the German payment rules. Deposits should in principle come by direct debit, transfer or card from the player's payment account; under § 16(4) GwG an exception is only provided where no more than €25 per transaction and €100 per calendar month are deposited (gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 06.10.2026). A €10 bank payment does not need this exception, because it comes from your own account anyway.

Withdrawal to your bank account: time, limits, fees

Where Trustly is missing, the withdrawal arrives as a bank transfer on the account on file. The time is made up of processing at the casino (pending) and the transfer itself:

  • Playzilla: 0–5 days (AskGamblers EN), 1–5 days (AskGamblers DE); no weekend withdrawals.
  • Rolling Slots: withdrawing at Rolling Slots takes 3–7 days after 24–72 hours pending according to AskGamblers; no weekend withdrawals.
  • Playio: 3–5 days (AskGamblers data sheet); the AskGamblers text gives processing up to 3 working days, Monday to Friday.
  • Qbet: 1–5 days after 0–48 hours pending; weekend withdrawals too.
  • AmunRa: 3–7 days (AskGamblers EN), 24–72 hours (AskGamblers DE); no weekend withdrawals.

Playzilla, Rolling Slots, Playio and AmunRa state €500 per day. Per month it is €7,000 at Playzilla, Playio and AmunRa and €10,000 at Rolling Slots; for Playzilla withdrawals, AskGamblers DE gives up to €1,500 per day and €20,000 per month depending on the VIP level. Qbet states €10,000 per day and €100,000 per month, with additional checks above €2,000.

According to the sources, Playzilla, Rolling Slots and Playio charge no deposit or withdrawal fees. AmunRa charges no withdrawal fees but points to possible fees from payment providers. No source covers charges by your own bank for incoming transfers.

  1. Step 1

    Account check

Check that the stored IBAN belongs to a current account in your own name.

  2. Step 2

    Complete verification

Upload ID and, if required, proof of account before the first withdrawal so the request does not stall.

  3. Step 3

    Request the withdrawal

Choose bank transfer in the cashier, enter an amount within the daily and monthly limits and confirm.

  4. Step 4

    Wait for the pending phase

Processing time depends on the brand; per AskGamblers, Playzilla, Rolling Slots and AmunRa do not process at the weekend.

  5. Step 5

    Receipt check

Match the incoming payment on your statement against amount and payment reference.

Legal framework: payments only through an account in your name

These statutory rules apply whether the transfer runs via Trustly, Sofortüberweisung or classically.

  • Withdrawals only to your own account: Under § 16(7) GwG withdrawals may only be made „durch einen Zahlungsvorgang auf ein Zahlungskonto, das auf den Namen des Spielers“ (by a payment transaction to a payment account in the player's name) has been opened, stating the purpose of the payment (gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 06.10.2026).
  • No anonymous means of payment: Under § 6b(4) GlüStV 2021 deposits and withdrawals only run through a payment account in the player's name at a credit or payment institution; „Ein- oder Auszahlungen über anonyme Zahlungsmittel sind im Fernvertrieb nicht zulässig“ (deposits or withdrawals via anonymous means of payment are not permitted in distance selling) (gesetze-bayern.de, as of 06.10.2026).
  • Changing bank details: If you change your bank details, under § 6a GlüStV 2021 withdrawals only go to the previously stored connection until the new details have been verified (gesetze-bayern.de, as of 06.10.2026).

A partner's or parent's account is therefore off limits, even if the payment technically works. Identity checks have no minimum threshold either: under § 16(1) GwG the general threshold from § 10(5) GwG does not apply (gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 07.10.2026), so proof of account may be requested even for small amounts.

Licence, payment blocking and LUGAS

Bank payments make visible who the money goes to. Under § 4(1) GlüStV 2021 public games of chance may only be organised with a permit from the competent authority. Under § 9(1) no. 4 GlüStV 2021 the supervisory authority may, after notification, bar banks and payment service providers from such payments and payouts (gesetze-bayern.de, as of 06.10.2026).

For the 5 brands the sources name no German permit but foreign licences, partly contradictory: Playzilla Anjouan Gaming Board (AskGamblers EN), PAGCOR (AskGamblers DE), no known licence (casino.guru); Rolling Slots Curaçao Gaming Authority; Playio Tobique Gaming Commission (AskGamblers), no licence (casino.guru), Curaçao (casinoohnelizenz.com); Qbet Tobique Gaming Commission; AmunRa Anjouan (casino.guru, AskGamblers EN), PAGCOR (AskGamblers DE).

The monthly cross-operator deposit limit under § 6c(1) GlüStV 2021 may in principle not exceed €1,000 per month; this is the cross-operator LUGAS limit, recorded in the LUGAS limit file, which according to the GGL FAQ resets on the first day of each month (gesetze-bayern.de and gluecksspiel-behoerde.de, as of 06.10.2026). It applies to operators with a German permit and caps deposits, not withdrawals.

If a bank declines a payment or a withdrawal does not arrive, seek individual advice from a consumer advice centre (Verbraucherzentrale) or a lawyer; the GGL states it is not responsible for civil-law claims such as balance payouts (gluecksspiel-behoerde.de, as of 06.10.2026).

SEPA direct debit, chargebacks and gambling debts

Trustly and the bank transfer are transfers you approve yourself; with a SEPA direct debit the recipient collects the amount under your mandate. For SEPA core direct debits, § 675x BGB lets the payer demand a refund from their bank within eight weeks of the debit without reasons; the bank decides within ten business days (gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 07.10.2026). A transfer you approved has no such right of return.

Separate from this is § 675u BGB: for an unauthorised payment, for example someone using your account without consent, the payment service provider must refund the amount without undue delay. Your own authorised casino deposit is not such a case (gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 07.10.2026).

§ 762 BGB states that gambling or betting „eine Verbindlichkeit nicht begründet“ (does not create an obligation); however, what has been paid cannot be reclaimed on that ground alone (gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 07.10.2026). Whether deposits with operators without a German permit can be reclaimed is the subject of the lead-decision procedure I ZR 216/25 at the Federal Court of Justice; according to press release no. 086/2026 the hearing was scheduled for 17.09.2026, and our sources do not state a result (bundesgerichtshof.de, as of 06.10.2026). A chargeback after gambling losses is not a formality and can trigger follow-up costs; before getting money back from a casino, have your specific case checked by a consumer advice centre or a lawyer.

Payment reference: what appears on your bank statement

Every bank payment leaves a trace on the statement, by design: under § 16(7) GwG the payment reference for withdrawals must be stated in such a way „dass für einen Außenstehenden erkennbar ist, aus welchem Grund der Zahlungsvorgang erfolgt ist“ (that an outsider can see why the payment was made); the supervisory authorities may set standard wording for this (gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 07.10.2026).

Your bank can thus recognise gambling credits and ask where funds come from, while you can match payouts to requests more easily. For bank-transfer deposits the casino usually gives a reference to copy unchanged so the credit reaches your gaming account.

With Trustly the service fills in this reference automatically; with a classic transfer you copy it from the cashier.

Checklist before your first payment from a bank account

Before you trigger the first payment from your current account at one of the 5 brands, these questions help:

  • Is the method you want available in the cashier for an account from Germany? None of the sources lists Trustly, and only the AskGamblers data sheet lists „Sofort“.
  • What minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal does the brand state, and does your planned amount fit both?
  • Are there withdrawal fees, such as the 3% when withdrawing at Qbet from the second request within 24 hours?
  • How long does the bank transfer take at this brand, and does the casino also process at the weekend?

Account in your own name and verification are covered by the steps in the withdrawal section. Gambling can be addictive; free advice is available from the BIÖG on 0800 1 37 27 00.

Short answers

Frequently asked questions

What is the Trustly payment method?

A payment initiation service: the deposit is triggered from your own online banking and approved with your bank's security procedure, without card or wallet balance.

Which of the 5 casinos accept Trustly?

None. Neither the casino.guru payment lists nor the AskGamblers data sheets list Trustly at Playzilla, Rolling Slots, Playio, Qbet or AmunRa (sources as of 05.10.2026). As a bank route, the sources list the bank transfer at all 5 brands.

Is Trustly like Klarna?

In principle yes: both trigger a transfer from online banking. They are, however, separate providers; a casino with Sofortüberweisung does not automatically offer Trustly.

Can I make a Sofortüberweisung with Trustly?

No. Sofortüberweisung is a Klarna product and Trustly an independent service; which route is offered is up to the casino.

Can I deposit €10 from my bank account?

At Rolling Slots, Playio and Qbet the sources give €10 as the minimum deposit, at AmunRa €10 for the welcome bonus, and at Playzilla €10 only for the German bonus offer. No source gives a minimum deposit per payment method.

May I use another person's bank account?

No. Under § 6b(4) GlüStV 2021 and § 16(7) GwG, deposits and withdrawals only run through a payment account in the player's name (as of 06.10.2026). Someone else's account causes problems at the latest when you withdraw.

How long does a withdrawal to a bank account take?

Depending on the brand, the sources give 1–5 days (Qbet), 3–5 days (Playio), 3–7 days (Rolling Slots), 0–5 or 1–5 days (Playzilla, depending on the AskGamblers version) and 3–7 days or 24–72 hours (AmunRa, depending on the AskGamblers version).
