Paying at the casino by phone bill

Values per casino, each with its source.

How we collect the data ▸

When you pay by phone bill, the casino deposit does not go through a card or a bank account but through your mobile number: the amount appears on your next bill from the mobile network operator or, on a prepaid plan, is deducted from your credit. Among the deposit methods at online casinos, this route is called Siru Mobile in the payment lists of the five casinos compared here. None of the lists names any other service for charging deposits to the phone bill.

Only Playzilla, PlayiO and AmunRa list Siru Mobile, and the method is on none of the five casinos' withdrawal lists.

The other casinos do not name the method in the recorded sources: Rolling Slots Casino, Qbet Casino.

Which casinos list Siru Mobile

The two sources we evaluated list deposit methods in different detail, so their information on Siru Mobile differs as well. We give both lists separately.

  • Playzilla: Siru Mobile is one of 32 deposit methods according to casino.guru and one of 35 according to AskGamblers. Playzilla is the only brand for which both sources name the method.
  • PlayiO: Siru Mobile is on the casino.guru list of 34 deposit methods; the AskGamblers list of 40 methods does not include it.
  • AmunRa: here it is the other way round. AskGamblers lists Siru Mobile as one of 39 deposit methods, while it is missing from the casino.guru list of 31 methods.
  • Rolling Slots: neither on the casino.guru list (23 methods) nor on the AskGamblers list (36 methods).
  • Qbet: neither at casino.guru (34 methods) nor at AskGamblers (24 methods).

The sources do not show which of the two lists is more up to date. What counts in the end is the casino cashier: if Siru Mobile does not appear among the deposit methods there, the method is not enabled for your player account. This can also depend on the country the account is registered for, because the source lists contain methods from many markets, such as PIX from Brazil or Interac from Canada.

How a deposit by phone bill works

If you want to pay at the casino with your phone bill, you need neither a card number nor an IBAN at the cashier. You are asked for your mobile number, and the payment is then confirmed on your phone, depending on the payment service by SMS code or in a confirmation window. The exact flow is set by the payment service and the mobile network operator; the sources we evaluated do not describe it for any of the three brands.

  1. Step 1

    Open the cashier

Go to the deposit section of your player account and check whether Siru Mobile appears in the list of methods.

  2. Step 2

    Choose the amount

Enter the amount. It must not be below the casino's minimum deposit and has to fit within the limit your mobile network operator allows for payments via the bill.

  3. Step 3

    Enter your mobile number

Enter your own mobile number in the payment service window. The number belongs to your own contract or your own prepaid SIM, not to someone else's line.

  4. Step 4

    Confirm the payment

Enter the code from the SMS or approve the payment in the confirmation window. Then check whether the amount shows up in your casino balance.

  5. Step 5

    Keep the confirmation

Keep the SMS or e-mail from the payment service until the deposit is credited and you have checked your phone bill. If support has questions, this is your proof.

The sources do not say how quickly a Siru Mobile deposit appears in the player account at Playzilla and AmunRa. For PlayiO, casinoohnelizenz.com gives a processing time of „Instant“ for deposits in general, without mentioning Siru Mobile separately. On the operator side, the payment shows up on the next monthly bill for a contract, while prepaid credit is charged directly. If your mobile network operator has a third-party billing block in place that stops other services from charging your phone bill, the payment service will decline the deposit even if the casino offers Siru Mobile. You can check this block in your customer account with the mobile network operator.

Minimum and maximum amounts by phone bill

No source names a separate minimum or maximum amount for Siru Mobile (no data). Only the general minimum deposits of the brands are known: €10 at PlayiO, €10 for the welcome bonus at AmunRa and €10 or €20 at Playzilla, depending on the bonus offer.

With a phone bill there is a second limit that does not come from the casino: mobile network operators can set their own maximum amounts per payment and per month for charges via the bill. How high they are depends on your plan and is stated in your contract documents or your customer account. If the amount you want to deposit exceeds this limit, the deposit will not go through, even if the casino would accept it.

The German Anti-Money Laundering Act also mentions small amounts. Under § 16(4) GwG, online gambling operators may in principle only accept deposits by direct debit, bank transfer or payment card from a payment account in the player's name; an exception applies if no more than €25 per transaction and €100 per calendar month are deposited (source: gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 06.10.2026). The sources do not say how the three casinos fit Siru Mobile into this framework.

Withdrawing after a deposit by phone bill

The phone bill is a deposit-only method. Siru Mobile is not on any withdrawal list of the five casinos, and in casino withdrawal by method a credit to the phone bill is not part of the payment flow. Under § 16(7) GwG, payouts may only be made by a payment transaction to a payment account in the player's name; the payment reference must make it clear to outsiders why the payment was made (source: gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 07.10.2026).

If you deposit by phone, you therefore need a second method for winnings from the start, such as a bank account, a card or an e-wallet; all three brands with Siru Mobile list Skrill withdrawals. Verification comes before the first withdrawal: under § 6a(4) GlüStV 2021, payouts are not permitted as long as the player's details have not been confirmed (source: gesetze-bayern.de, as of 06.10.2026).

  1. Step 1

    Complete verification

Upload your ID and proof of address as soon as the casino asks for them. No withdrawal is released until the check is complete.

  2. Step 2

    Choose a withdrawal method

Pick a method from the withdrawal list that is in your own name, for example bank transfer, Visa or an e-wallet such as Skrill or Neteller.

  3. Step 3

    Confirm the payment method

Depending on the casino, you will be asked for proof of the new method, such as a bank statement or a photo of the card with the digits covered.

  4. Step 4

    Amount and limits

Keep the minimum withdrawal and the daily limit in mind. If your winnings exceed the daily limit, they are paid out in instalments.

  5. Step 5

    Wait for processing

After the request, the casino's checking phase (pending) follows; only then is the payment passed on to the payment service.

Withdrawal methods, times and limits at Playzilla, PlayiO and AmunRa

For the three brands with Siru Mobile, the sources give times and limits only for withdrawals as a whole, so they apply to whichever method you choose after a deposit by phone bill.

Playzilla lists 26 withdrawal methods according to AskGamblers, including Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Revolut and Jeton. According to AskGamblers, the pending phase and processing take up to 5 days per method, with no fees. The maximum payout is €500 per day and €7,000 per month, depending on VIP level up to €1,500 per day and €20,000 per month.

For withdrawing at PlayiO, the casino lists 27 methods, including Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, Revolut and several cryptocurrencies. According to AskGamblers, the pending phase takes 0–5 days; after that, e-wallets take up to 96 hours, crypto up to 1 hour, bank and card 3–5 days, and there are no weekend payouts. The minimum withdrawal is €20 according to AskGamblers / €10 according to casinoohnelizenz.com, and the limit is €500 per day and €7,000 per month.

AmunRa has the longest withdrawal list of the three with 33 methods, including Paysafecard, Neosurf, Zimpler, Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, Skrill and Neteller. The pending phase takes 0–72 hours, then 3–7 days per method according to AskGamblers (EN) / 24–72 hours according to AskGamblers (DE); the limit is €500 per day and €7,000 per month, and according to AskGamblers the casino charges no withdrawal fees.

Paying with your phone without the phone bill

Anyone who wants to top up a casino „by phone“ does not always mean the phone bill. Smartphone wallets and services confirmed via the mobile number also run through the phone, but the money is then taken from the bank account, the card or the wallet balance. The lists of the five brands contain four such methods:

  • Apple Pay: Rolling Slots according to AskGamblers, Qbet according to casino.guru. Apple Pay is not on the withdrawal list of either brand.
  • Google Pay: only Qbet, according to casino.guru and AskGamblers; Google Pay is missing from the withdrawal list.
  • Zimpler: Playzilla and PlayiO according to casino.guru, AmunRa according to AskGamblers. AmunRa also lists Zimpler on its withdrawal list, making it the only one of the five brands where a service confirmed via the mobile number works in both directions.
  • MuchBetter: an e-wallet managed on the smartphone. It is on the deposit list at Playzilla and Rolling Slots according to AskGamblers, at Qbet according to casino.guru, and at PlayiO and AmunRa according to both sources. Playzilla, PlayiO and AmunRa list withdrawals via MuchBetter.

If you are paying with Apple Pay, a stored card is usually behind it, and the same applies to Google Pay. Visa is on the deposit list of all five casinos and also on the withdrawal list at Playzilla, Rolling Slots, PlayiO and AmunRa; only Qbet does not list Visa for withdrawals. If you deposit with a smartphone wallet, you can have winnings paid to the card behind it at these four brands, provided the cashier offers this.

Paysafecard instead of the phone bill

Paysafecard often comes up in searches about the phone bill, for example as „pay for Paysafecard by phone bill“. Both are methods without card or bank details at the cashier, but the logic differs: with Paysafecard you buy credit with a PIN in advance, with Siru Mobile the mobile network operator bills you afterwards or deducts prepaid credit. Whether a Paysafecard voucher itself can be bought via the phone bill depends on the sales channel; the sources we evaluated say nothing about it.

Among the five brands, Paysafecard is more widespread than Siru Mobile, because all five casinos list it as a deposit method, including Rolling Slots and Qbet, which do not offer the phone bill. If you are looking for casinos with Paysafecard, that page covers the process, minimum amounts and the withdrawal route of all five brands in detail. Paysafecard is on the withdrawal list only at Rolling Slots and AmunRa.

A rule on the holder applies to prepaid credit: under § 16(6) GwG, for monetary value on instruments under § 2(1) no. 10 ZAG, „the holder of the monetary value must be identical with the holder of the player account“ (source: gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 07.10.2026). For the same reason, only your own mobile contract belongs at the cashier when paying by phone bill, not the line of a partner or parents.

Bank transfer, Sofort bank transfer and Klarna

Searches for „casino deposit on invoice“ often lead to the phone bill, because both sound like paying after the fact. Buying on invoice or in instalments does not exist at the casino, however: under § 4(5) no. 2 GlüStV 2021, operators, intermediaries and third parties acting on their behalf may not grant players loans or advertise loans on their domain (source: gesetze-bayern.de, as of 06.10.2026). With Siru Mobile, too, only the billing route differs; the casino itself does not defer any deposit.

You pay directly from your current account by depositing by bank transfer, which all five brands list for deposits and withdrawals, or by Sofort bank transfer. For Sofort/Klarna at the casino, AskGamblers shows Sofort at Playzilla, Rolling Slots, PlayiO and Qbet, and Klarna Instant Bank Transfer only at Rolling Slots; neither method appears on the casino.guru lists, and AmunRa lacks both in both sources.

The difference from the phone bill lies in the way back: bank transfer is also on the withdrawal list of all five casinos, so deposits and withdrawals go through the same account. If you already know before your first deposit that you want possible winnings paid to your current account, this method saves you from confirming a second payment method.

Legal framework for payments by phone

For online gambling in Germany, § 6b(4) GlüStV 2021 stipulates that deposits and withdrawals go through a payment account in the player's name at a credit or payment institution; „deposits or withdrawals via anonymous means of payment are not permitted in distance selling“ (source: gesetze-bayern.de, as of 06.10.2026). The mobile number therefore does not replace the identification of the player account.

Small amounts do not change this. Under § 16(1) GwG, the €2,000 threshold of § 10(5) GwG does not apply to the general due diligence obligations for online gambling (source: gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 07.10.2026). A casino may therefore ask for ID and proof of payment as early as the first deposit by phone bill.

For operators with a German licence, the cross-operator deposit limit also applies: under § 6c(1) GlüStV 2021, it may in principle not exceed €1,000 per month (as of 06.10.2026). It is recorded in the LUGAS limit file; according to the GGL the LUGAS limit resets on the first day of each month, and failed payments count as well. The limit applies to all deposit methods together, not to a single payment type.

For the three brands with Siru Mobile, the sources name different licences: Anjouan or PAGCOR for Playzilla, Tobique or Curaçao for PlayiO, and Anjouan or PAGCOR as the AmunRa licence; casino.guru names none for Playzilla and PlayiO. No source names a German licence of the kind listed on the GGL's whitelist for any of the three brands.

Common problems with deposits by phone bill

  • Payment declined: common causes are an active third-party billing block, an exhausted monthly limit with the mobile network operator or too little prepaid credit. The mobile network operator can help here, not the casino.
  • Siru Mobile missing at the cashier: the method only appears in the source lists for Playzilla, PlayiO and AmunRa, and even there it may be hidden depending on the country of the player account. In that case, only another method from the list remains.
  • Amount charged but not credited: contact casino support with the SMS confirmation, time and amount. All three brands offer 24/7 live chat and e-mail; Playzilla support chats only in English according to casino.guru, PlayiO also in German according to casino.guru / only in English according to AskGamblers, and AmunRa in German according to casino.guru / in English with automatic translation according to AskGamblers.
  • Bonus and phone bill: the sources do not say whether a Siru Mobile deposit counts towards a welcome bonus; which methods are excluded from the bonus is set out in the casino's bonus terms.
  • Bill higher than expected: casino deposits often appear on the phone bill grouped under the name of the payment service. The itemised bill or your customer account with the mobile network operator shows the individual amounts.

Payments at the casino are spending on entertainment, not a way to earn money. With the phone bill, the total only becomes visible with the monthly bill; if you plan a fixed amount for gambling, a prepaid SIM makes it easier to keep track of it. Under § 4(3) GlüStV 2021, minors may not take part in gambling. If you notice that deposits are becoming more frequent or larger than planned, the GGL refers to free counselling from the BIÖG on 0800 1 37 27 00; further help is available at bundesweit-gegen-gluecksspielsucht.de.
