Casino deposit not received: what to do
The rules for players with provision and primary source.
The money has left your bank account, yet the player account shows no balance. In our analysis of player reports on payment problems this is the most frequent issue: 14 entries, six of them about Playzilla and three each about Qbet and AmunRa. Outcomes range from a deposit credited after two days ("Sofort", Qbet) to two bank transfers that, according to the player, were still missing after three months.

First step: where the money is stuck
Is the booking on your statement only pending or already executed? And does the deposit appear in the transaction history of your player account? The two can differ: in one Playzilla case, €50 and €20 showed up in the history but, according to the player, were never credited (casino.guru). After a bank transfer, on the other hand, you are often just waiting for the bank.
Common causes
The bank declines or reverses the payment. Ten further reports concern banks that do not execute casino payments, reverse them or query the customer. One player writes that his bank did not execute Sofort transfers to a casino. For another, the bank sent every amount back the next day, and the operator charged a €3.50 "processing fee" each time. At AmunRa, TF Bank confirmed in writing to a player that the payment had been declined and returned; the casino still asked for new documents.
The payment account is not in your own name. Under Section 16(4) GwG, deposits may only come by direct debit, bank transfer or payment card from a payment account in the player's name; amounts of up to €25 per transaction and €100 per calendar month are exempt (gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 06.10.2026). For e-money and prepaid, such as a Paysafecard account, the holder of the funds must be identical to the holder of the player account (Section 16(6) GwG, as of 07.10.2026). Section 6b(4) GlüStV 2021 allows deposits and withdrawals only via a payment account in the player's name and rules out anonymous means of payment in online distribution (gesetze-bayern.de, as of 06.10.2026).
The monthly limit has been reached. Under Section 6c(1) GlüStV 2021, every player sets a cross-operator monthly deposit limit at registration, which as a rule may not exceed €1,000 (as of 06.10.2026). According to the FAQ of the Joint Gambling Authority of the German states, failed payments also count towards the monthly LUGAS limit; it resets on the first day of each month.
An input error with Paysafecard. One player could not complete a Paysafecard deposit from an iPad and asked whether the PIN code should be entered with or without hyphens.
The money is stuck in the e-wallet. Another player planned on paying with Skrill at the casino: the amount was debited from the bank account but nothing arrived in the Skrill account; the casino was not yet involved at that point. His question was whether the Skrill account had to be verified first.
Crediting by payment method
According to an answer on gutefrage.net, a regular transfer to an online casino takes three to four working days, Sofortüberweisung and Giropay one hour at most. A Qbet player, however, reports that a "Sofort" payment took two days before the money was in the player account.
On fast crediting the sources say different things for the five brands. Crypto: at Qbet almost instant according to askgamblers.com, based on a single USDC deposit. E-wallet: at AmunRa "available instantly" according to one player report on AskGamblers. PlayiO states a general processing time of "Instant" according to casinoohnelizenz.com. No source gives a crediting time for Paysafecard or credit card, and for Playzilla and Rolling Slots there is no information for any payment method.
Proof for support
According to AskGamblers, all five brands offer 24/7 live chat and email. Support asked for proof in three of the 14 reports: a screenshot of the debit (Playzilla), a bank statement (Qbet) and proof of the debit (Playzilla). In the last case, according to the player, the proof did not help, and deposits went missing there more than once.
Anyone preparing a deposit at Playzilla will find methods, minimum amounts and limits there. One player was told to wait two hours after the screenshot and then follow up by email; AskGamblers concluded in this case that the casino had acted under its terms.
At Qbet, support repeatedly asked one player for a bank statement, and the money neither arrived nor came back. Two Qbet reports link the missing deposit with the question of how money gets back, so before the next payment it is worth checking the routes, timing and limits of a Qbet withdrawal.
Contact by brand
The email addresses according to AskGamblers: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]. On language, the sources differ.
Playzilla: website in German, support and live chat in English only according to casino.guru. Rolling Slots: support and live chat in German according to casino.guru, support in English only according to AskGamblers; there is also a contact form but no phone support. PlayiO: support in English only according to AskGamblers, also in German according to casino.guru. Qbet: support in German according to both sources; in the chat a chatbot answers first, a live agent is one click away (AskGamblers). AmunRa: support and chat in German according to casino.guru, while according to AskGamblers the agents in the AmunRa live chat reply in English with automatic translation; there is also a contact form and a help section.
Wait, follow up, escalate
Reported waiting times: with "finance department, three days", Playzilla support put off a player whose €20 were still missing after more than ten days; he then filed a complaint with AskGamblers. €200 by bank transfer were credited after five days, €100 by Sofortüberweisung at Qbet were unresolved after more than six days.
At AmunRa, support offered another deposit after three days of waiting. Where LUGAS applies, every further deposit counts towards the monthly limit. Two more AmunRa complaints on AskGamblers: €170 paid via the payment service Zimpler and not credited, and €144 that according to the player did not arrive for almost two months.
If support gets nowhere, the payment service is the next contact: your bank, Sofortüberweisung/Klarna or, for example, Zimpler. In one Playzilla case casino.guru pointed exactly there and named about one month for the investigation; in that case the player account was closed after several complaints.
What the rules say
Section 6b(2) GlüStV 2021 addresses crediting explicitly: deposits and winnings must be credited without undue delay, and withdrawals must be deducted from the player account without undue delay once the player requests them (gesetze-bayern.de, as of 06.10.2026).
Section 6a(4) GlüStV 2021 covers the opposite direction: before the player's details are confirmed, participation in play and withdrawals are not permitted; as an exception, play is allowed for 72 hours from registration up to a deposit limit of €100 (gesetze-bayern.de, as of 06.10.2026).
Your bank is governed by its own rules. With a SEPA core direct debit, the payer can request a refund from their bank within eight weeks of the debit without giving reasons; the bank decides within ten business days (Section 675x BGB, gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 07.10.2026). Section 675u BGB applies only to an unauthorised payment transaction: the bank must then refund without undue delay, at the latest by the end of the following business day after notification. A casino deposit you initiated yourself is not such a case.
